The JIC Library exists to support the mission of Jubail Industrial College. A new library building has been constructed and consists of two well ventilated spacious floors. The ground floor accommodates a digital library and is houses with 166 computers, networking, multimedia materials, ebrary database, netlibrary and modern furniture, whereas the first floor is devoted to traditional library.

The library services include circulation, information services, library help with instruction services, online catalogue service (OPAC), e-book services, multimedia, CD-Rom services and electronic information by email services etc.

In order to provide a better and more effective service, all library operations have been fully automated. Horizon library software from Dynix is utilized for library automation and Dewey Decimal System is used to organise the library materials. Equitrac software is used to control the photocopying and printing charges.
