برنامج شهادة أخصائي معتمد في هندسة السلامة من الحرائق
نبذه عامة: -1
مدة البرنامج: اثنى عشر أسبوعا أو ثلاثة أشهر
مصمم للمهندسيين والفنيين ذو خبره بمجال الوقاية من الحريق.
ينقسم البرنامج إلى قسمين:
- موا د برنامج هندسة السلامة والحرائق التقنية النظرية
- التدريب العملي بمختبرات قسم هندسة السلامة والحرائق في كلية الجبيل الصناعية
مخرجات البرنامج المتوقعة: -2
-القدرة على إستخدام معدات مكافحة الحرائق والتعرف على تقنيتها. إستخدام أكواد الحرائق بحيث تتوافق مع مختلف الجهات العاملة بالمشروع وإيجاد حلقات الوصل التي تساعد على تنفيذ اللوائح والإشتراطات.
القدرة على فحص المباني أو المخططات لتحديد متطلبات أنظمة الحماية من الحرائق واكتشاف المشاكل المحتملة. -
فحص المنشأت وتقييمها بناءً على الإشتراطات واللوائح المتبعة. -
تصميم أجهزة الإنذار المبكر وكواشف الحرائق وشبكة الرش الالي وملحقاتها. -
-إعداد وكتابة التقارير التفصيلية لقضايا الوقاية والحماية من الحرائق التي تخص مراجعة اللوائح والإشتراطات والأكواد وتدويين الأعمال المنجزة والجداول الزمنية.
تحديد أسباب وقوع الحرائق وإيجاد طرق الوقاية والأسباب الناجمة عن الطرق التشغيلية -
التواجد القيادي عند أعمال التعديل والتركيب والصيانة والتشغيل لمعدات وأنظمة الحماية من الحرائق. -
تنسيق أنشطة السلامة توافقاً للوائح والإشتراطات. -
وضع خطط تطويرية لمنع الخسائر الناتجة عن الحرائق. -
تجهيز وإعداد الخطط الوقائية للحد من خسائر الحرائق. -
إعداد خطط عمل دقيقة. -
- مناقشة لوائح السلامة وإعداد التوصيات للقيام بالتغييرات اللازمة.
دراسة العلاقة بين المواد وقابليتها للإشتعال لتحديد كيفية ابتداء الحرائق. –
3- خطة البرنامج:
الوحدات التدريبية:
- مجموع عدد الوحدات التدريبية 11 وحدة تدريبية ومدة الوحدة التدريبية أسبوع واحد بإستثناء الوحدة بعنوان (أنظمة الحماية من الحرائق) مدتها أسبوعان.
- مجموع عدد ساعات التدريس اليومية لكل وحدة تدريبية 6 ساعات يوميا بحيث تكون الساعات الإجمالية لكل وحدة 30 ساعة.
- الوحدات التدريبية مجدولة بأوقات مختلفة على مدار العام لتسهيل حضور المهندسيين والفنيين بما لايتعارض مع أوقات عملهم الأساسية. وسوف تمنح الشهادة بعد إكمال جميع الوحدات التدريبية.

Total Hours of Program 360 Hours 4- معايير التقييم: جميع الوحدات التدريبية سوف يتبعها إختبار في اليوم الأخير من الوحدة التدريبية المنتهية وعلى المتقدم إجتياز جميع إختبارات الوحدات التدريبية للحصول على الشهادة الخاصة بالبرنامج. 5- إصدار الشهادات: سيتم إصدار شهادة حضور لجميع المرشحين الملتحقين بالبرنامج. المرشح الذي يجتاز جميع اختبارات الوحدات التدريبية للبرنامج سيصدر له شهادة معتمده " أخصائي هندسة السلامة والحرائق. 6-شروط التسجيل بالبرنامج:
يجب توفر الشروط التالية للمترشحين للتسجيل بالبرنامج على أن يكون حاصل على إحدى الشروط:

1- ان يكون مؤهلاً للعمل في مكتب مستشار الدفاع المدني بعد الانتهاء من برنامج الاعتماد، يجب أن يكون المرشح على درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الكهربائية والميكانيكية والهندسة المعمارية.
تقدم JIC وSASF أيضًا برنامجًا للمرشحين ذوي المتطلبات التالية.
2- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة أو التكنولوجيا أو أي مجال آخر ذي صلة من كلية أو جامعة معتمدة.
3- شهادة جامعية في الهندسة أو التكنولوجيا أو غيرها من الانضباط ذات الصلة من كلية أو جامعة معتمدة، بالإضافة إلى عامين من الخبرة في العمل يمكن التحقق منها مكرسة للحد من الخسائر الناجمة عن الحرائق المادية والمالية.
4- شهادة الدراسة الثانوية، بالإضافة إلى أربع سنوات من الخبرة في العمل يمكن التحقق منها مخصصة لتقليص خسائر الحرائق، على حد سواء المادية والمالية.
5- الشراكة
يتم تقديم برنامج شهادة هندسة الإطفاء والسلامة بالشراكة مع الجمعية السعودية للسلامة والحريق والدفاع المدني.

Course Descriptions
(1) Fire Behavior and Combustion
This course explores the theories and fundamentals of how and why fire starts, spreads, and is controlled. Following an overview of chemistry and physics of fire, the students are taught in basics of heat transfer, combustion processes, and fire extinguishment chemistry, common fire extinguishing agents, fire characteristics of gaseous, liquid and solid combustibles.
(2) Hazardous Materials Chemistry
This course deals with basic chemistry relating to the categories of hazardous materials including recognition, identification, reactivity, and health hazards. Students are taught in MSDS, NFPA system of identifying potential hazards, and impact of heat on human body.
(3) Life Safety Principles
The course introduces the fundamentals of Life Safety in buildings. This course addresses the basic measurements shall be considered such as construction, occupancy specifications & protection elements necessary to reduce & mitigate the danger to lives from the effect of fire & combustion products like smoke, heat & extremely toxic gases. The course enhances the understanding of how to perform means of egress prediction & calculation & required ITM program to be carried to ensure safety of lives & buildings.
(4) Building Construction for Fire Protection
This course provides the components of building construction related to firefighter and life safety. The elements of construction and design of structures are shown to be key factors when inspecting buildings, preplanning fire operations, and operating at emergencies.
(5) Fire Alarm Signaling System
This course enables students to acquire knowledge and hands-on experience in modern fire alarm technology, such as fire signatures, emergency communication systems, fire alarm components and circuits, fire alarm signal initiation, fire alarm transmission and processing methods, fire detection system design. Students learn to prepare fire alarm signaling system engineering documents and plan review.
(6) Fire Protection Hydraulics and Water Supply Analysis
The course provides understanding of use of water in fire protection, and the hydraulic principles in analyzing and solving problems which may occur in water supply systems. Topics include water supply systems, industrial fire pumps and their installation, fire pump testing and maintenance, calculations for automatic sprinkler systems.
(7) Fire Protection Systems I
This first course of a two-part fire protection systems course will familiarize the students with the various types of fire protection systems found in public and private buildings. Students get an overview of fire detection and suppression systems and are taught in components of the systems comprising detection and alarm systems, smoke management systems, the water supply systems complete with fire pumps.
(8) Fire Protection Systems II
This second course of a two-part fire protection systems course will familiarize the students with the various types of fire protection systems found in public and private buildings. Students are taught in various fire suppression systems such as automatic sprinkler systems, special extinguishing systems, and portable fire extinguishers.
(9) Fire Protection Design
In this course students will prepare code compliant working drawings and perform calculations of sprinkler systems using advanced software packages. They will also learn of the methodical approaches in the design and calculations of commonly encountered fire protection systems.
(10) Principles of Fire Prevention and Code Enforcement
This course provides students with the fundamental knowledge of the role of code enforcement in a comprehensive fire prevention program. Students will learn to identify appropriate codes to requirements of the built environment, and the professional development process for the code enforcement practitioners.
(11) Fire Plans Review
In this course the students learn the application of relevant fire codes and standards to a building's fire protection features which include design of fire alarm systems, water-based fire suppression systems, special hazard fire suppression systems, water supply for fire protection and egress arrangement through the evaluation of 2D drawings and schematics.
