Under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Musaed Al-Massar, the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Royal Commission in Jubail, the Colleges and Institutes Sector (CIS) comprised by Jubail Industrial College, Jubail University College and Jubail Technical Institute, inaugurated on April 21, 2014 the 12th Career Day at the JIC Multi-Purpose Hall and Gym (for male branch) and at the Al-Sadfah Women Center in Al-Fanateer (for Female branch).
The opening ceremony of the 3-day event, which runs between April 21-23, 2014, was spearheaded by Dr. Ali Hassan Asiri, General Manager of the Colleges and Institutes Sector and the Managing Directors of the Colleges and Institutes: Dr. Adel S. Bahakeem (JIC), Dr. Maher Al-Ghanem (JUC), and Mr. Khalid Al-Harbi (JTI). High-ranking officials of the Royal Commission in Jubail, Heads and Representatives of participating industrial companies and government entities, event Committees, and many others also witnessed the inaugural activities.
More than 75 participants from the industrial companies and government and private institutions from all parts of the Kingdom joined the exhibit. Thousands of graduating students and Alumni in all fields came face-to-face with recruiters from these entities. Additionally, the exhibit also enabled the participating companies to present innovative ideas and solutions to several manpower constraints in many aspects of work.

The event was a huge success and admired by all quarters. It has attracted thousands of visitors that include students, graduates/alumni, high school students, and many more.
