A high-ranking delegation from Sadara Company and its partner Dow Chemicals visited Jubail Industrial College on October 24, 2016 to seek opportunities for future partnership in the fields of education and training, and to explore the potentials of JIC's academic and training programs offered for the industry. The delegation was received by Dr. Eid M. Al-Hajri, along with several key officials of the College.
A meeting was held to discuss and identify the appropriate training programs that will help Sadara and Dow in the empowerment of its employees in both technical and administrative disciplines. Mr. Abdullah M. Baagil, Director of the Industrial Relations, made a presentation highlighting the important developments in the College, including the recent projects completed by JIC such as Fire Training Center, Research and Innovation Cluster Hub, and the ISA Training Center. A tour to several academic departments was also arranged to give the delegation an overview of the current facility and laboratories available to students and trainees.
At the end of the visit, the visiting delegation expressed their appreciation to JIC for the successful visit and admired the significant contributions of the College to the development of the industry and the nation, in general.
