JIC HELD THE GRADUATION CEREMONY OF SABIC BATCH 8 TRAINEES IN BASIC OPERATIONS TRAINING PROGRAM

SABIC8 Image 1.jpgJubail Industrial College (JIC) and Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) concluded the 8th batch of SABIC Basic Operations Training Program during the Graduation Ceremony held at the Al-Huwaylat Theater on the evening of June 6, 2017. A total of 63 trainees successfully completed the program which was conducted for a period of 60 academic weeks between February 7, 2016 to May 25, 2017. In particular, the program ran in two phases. The first phase included a 40-weeks intensive learning of the English language in four levels of study. The second phase ran for 20 weeks, where trainees learned the technical and practical aspects of the program.

The ceremony was honored by the JIC Management led by Dr. Eid Mohammed Al-Hajri, JIC Managing Director. JIC Department Managers, Directors, Academic Chairmen and other dignitaries came in attendance, too. Also present were several high-ranking officials from SABIC led by Mr. Saeed bin Musaffar Al Qahtani, the Director of the Learning and Development Department in the Middle East and Africa. He was accompanied by the Presidents of Hadeed and Petrokemya. During his speech, Mr. Al-Qahtani thanked Jubail Industrial College for providing specialized technical programs that contribute to the greater development of SABIC companies. He also congratulated all the trainees and urged them to continue to persevere in their respective fields of work by applying what they have learned in the college.SABIC8 Image 2.jpg

It is worth mentioning that the College has successfully produced seven (7) batches in the same field of training; this comprises around 1,383 trainees. This program in basic operations is one of the many programs offered by Jubail Industrial College for the development of the industrial workforce. Over the years, Jubail Industrial College seeks to continue training the employees of various industrial companies in Jubail Industrial City and provide them with the necessary skills.
