1- STUDENT ACTIVITY WITH THE INDUSTRY (PETROKIMYA, ONE OF THE SABIC COMPANIES), 30/04/2014

Summary:

In the presence of PETROKIMYA company President engineer Abdulaziz Habardi, and the Education and Training affairs, the Deputy Dr. Eid Al Hajri conducted on 30/04/2014 industrial and students academic activity, event and activities, an awareness program and place under the auspices of PETROKEMYA company, with the participation of several scientific bodies, including the Jubail Industrial College and Education and Training Affairs. Where college events participated in three consecutive days through, students' projects from various scientific disciplines (Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and General Studies Department of Chemistry. Students Shared the audience from Perokiyma engineers and discussed with them some industrial recommendation on how to develop and modify future academic, industrial projects. At the end PETROKIMYA Company president, Engineer Abdul Aziz Habardi expressed his happiness and gratitude to the Jubail Industrial College for the outstanding level of performance. ​

3- JIC CELEBRATES THE ENGINEERING DAY (2th December, 2014)

Under the patronage of Dr. Eid Al-Hajri, the Acting Managing Director of Jubail Industrial College, the Education and Training Affairs represented by the Students Innovation and Leadership Council, held the activity of the International Engineering Day on December 2014 ,2, at the College Auditorium, where a number of the college Deputies, Directors and Chairmen were present. During this event, a number of scientific, applied projects from different Engineering Departments, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Chemical Engineering, were displayed by the students. The Mechanical Engineering Department has displayed two engineering projects. The first one was titled "The Fabrication of Electric Wooden Crane Model", while the latter was titled "The Fabrication of Human Powered Generator". In its turn, the Electrical Engineering Department also displayed two academic projects. The first one was about "Emergency Doors Monitoring Alarm Annunciator using Microcontroller", and the second one was about "Temperature Monitoring and Control System ". The last academic project was presented by students of Chemical Engineering Department about" Separation Techniques". At the end of the event, Dr. Eid Al-Hajri expressed his deep appreciation to all participants; Staff, Teachers and Students, and he particularly praised the earnest efforts of the members of the students Innovation and Leadership Council.

4- SCIENTIFIC FORUM FOR STUDENTS OF COLLEGES AND INSTITUTES SECTOR AT THE ROYAL COMMISSION IN JUBAIL (16/02/2015)

Under the supervision of Education and Training Affairs;

Students Innovation and leadership Council Chairman Dr. Murad Alsawalha supervised JIC student research (Mr. Hamad) work of the scientific forum. Additional assistance was obtained obtained from Mr. Edwin Opra. The JIC student, Mr. Hamad from Chemical Engineering Department (Research participation) was awarded first place at the Royal Commission level, while student *Hani Aqeel (Mechnical Deparment) was awarded third place (Innovation participation).

 5- LIBRARY OPEN DAY ACTIVITY

Students marketing club organized a library open day to provide JIC students with the opportunity for personal development through involvements that will enhance creativity, reading skills and scientific knowledge. Students from Al Ehsa Secondary School attended the event, and was introduced to them the JIC studies majors and engineering study fields.
