JIC LAUNCHES THE JUBAIL USED BOOKS STORE PROJECT

JUBS Image.jpgOn June 2, 2016, Dr. Eid M. Al-Hajri, JIC Managing Director, launched the new Jubail Used Books Store (JUBS) at the Management and Information Technology (MIT) building lobby, in the presence of several department heads, faculty, and staff .

The goal of the project is the practical implementation of the new vision for the future management of Jubail Industrial College in the development of education in terms of "education becomes creativity and innovation" and to convert all procurement procedures of selling used books from students to students through an electronic services. This initiative contributes to the college students obtaining the required service books in all its educational  departments electronically.

This device is the second phase of the JUBS project. A JIC student, at the end of the academic semester, deposits his used books inside the "deposit Dropbox books" which will be available at all entrances of the educational departments. This device will facilitate the process of trading "buying and selling" used books through its own website www.jubs.org.

JIC Managing Director honored all faculty members involved in this project for their support and their keenness on the success of this project.
