an ability to apply knowledge, techniques, skills and modern tools of mathematics, science, engineering, and technology to solve well-defined engineering problems appropriate to the discipline. 1.1. Select appropriate techniques and tools for a specific task relevant to the discipline.

1.2. Use computer-based and other resources effectively in assignments and projects.

1.3. Apply basic mathematical knowledge to solve basic problems appropriate to the discipline.

1.4. Apply principles of physics to solve simple practical problems appropriate to the discipline.
